Court.
(2) A person shall not
be eligible for
appointment as a
district judge unless
he –
(a) is at the time of
his appointment in
the service of the
Republic and has, for
not less than seven
years, held judicial
office in that service;
or
(b) has for not less
than ten years been
an advocate.
