Citizenship of
Bangladesh shall be

regulated by law;
citizens of
Bangladesh shall be
known as Bangalees

regulated by law.
In the beginning of
the Constitution,
above the
Preamble, the
following shall be
inserted, namely—
“BISMILLA-ARRAHMAN-ARRAHIM (In the
name of Allah, the
Beneficent, the
Merciful)”
