(7) Other documents as provided by Cabinet Order 3. The name and the abbreviated name of a political party or group to be stated in a House of Representatives Candidate List must be, if the political party or group is subject to official announcement under Article 86-6(6), such name and abbreviated name of the political party or group as officially announced, or if the political party or group is not subject to official announcement under the said paragraph, a name and an abbreviated name other than those that indicate or remind people of the name and abbreviated name as officially announced under the said paragraph or other names and abbreviated names similar thereto or the name of its representative or a person on its House of Representatives Candidate List for any constituency. In this case, if such name or abbreviated name as officially announced of a political party or group that is subject official announcement under the said paragraph indicates or reminds people of the name of its representative or a person on its House of Representatives Candidate List for any constituency, such political party or group shall not be regarded as a political party or group subject to official announcement under the said paragraph for the purpose of applying the provision of the first sentence of this paragraph. 4. Notwithstanding the provision of Article 87(1), a political party or group that falls under Paragraph 1(1) or (2) may, in the election of members of the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system, include candidates (including persons who are to become candidates; hereinafter the same in the Paragraphs 5 and 6) who are reported by the political party or group for an election of members of the House of Representatives under the single-seat system to be held concurrently with the election of members of the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system, in the political party or group's House of Representatives Candidate List, if the constituencies for which the candidates are reported are included in the area of the constituency for the election of members of the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system. 5. The number of persons on a House of Representatives Candidate List (excluding candidates for an election of members of the House of Representatives under the single-seat constituency system to be held concurrently with the election who are also included in the House of Representatives Candidate List in accordance with the preceding paragraph) shall not exceed the number of seats to be filled in the election of members of the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system. 6. If a political party or other political group that falls under Paragraph 1(1) or (2) includes, in accordance with Paragraph 4, two or more candidates for an election of members of the House of Representatives under the single-seat constituency system to be held concurrently with the election of members of the House of Representatives under the proportional representation system in its House of Representatives Candidate List, the political party or group may, notwithstanding the provision of Paragraph 1, apply the same ranking for being chosen as successful candidates to all or part of such candidates. 7. Upon becoming aware of any of the following events by the date of the election, the Chief Electoral Official shall delete the person from the House of Representatives Candidate List submitted under Paragraph 1 and immediately notify the political party or group that has submitted the list of deletion. The same shall apply when the Chief Electoral Official is notified in writing by the political party or group that has submitted the House of Representatives Candidate List, by the preceding day of the date of the election, of the fact that a person on the list has been expelled or has defected from the party or group or no longer belongs to the party or group due to any other reasons.
