ACTIONS OF A POLICE OFFICER
Report of unlawfully receiving or issuing ballots
Take actions to terminate the
violation;
Report to the operative officer on duty;
Call the operative task force;
Identify the voter and two
commission members responsible
for issuing the ballot to the voter;
suggest the voter stays in the voting
premises until the investigative task
force arrives;
Keep evidence until the task force arrives;
Recommend the PEC provides the voter list
spreadsheets and control slips under which
the ballots were unlawfully issued to the
other commission members authorized to
issue ballots.
Identify witnesses of the violation;
If the voter or PEC members do not
obey the lawful order of the police
officer on their identification and
try to leave the scene, take actions
in response;

After the task force arrives,
transfer data on the offenders,
submit a report, ensure
preservation of evidence and
guard the incident scene.
